1. KICK OFF meeting in Aurangabad, India, February 2019
The national coordinators (2 per country) will work during 6 days and tackle different aspects of the Project and its management and financial rules. (See further details below)
2. International Training Course, Bologna, Italy, 1st-12th May 2019
The aim of this Training Course is to set up networking and build capacity for using volunteering as a tool to include excluded youngsters and stimulate their employability and to build the capacity of the consortium in terms of EVS projects management through sharing practices and gathering information, building personal capacity of youth workers in terms of training providing and creating basis for intellectual outputs development (3 participants for each country – 4 for India).
3. Local workshops in all partner countries between June and July 2019
5 local workshops in each partner country organized by the same youth workers who participated in the 1st mobility in Italy (TC) to empower up to 400 young people in total to volunteer locally and internationally. These workshops will be organized in cooperation with local schools and public authorities or figures. The target of those local workshops will be youth, youngsters with fewer opportunities and particularly NEETs. The content of the training is developed by the partnership, but then there might be some small adaptations depending of the needs of local youth. There will be 5 working days in total (8 hours each), but it is up to the organization if they prefer to make the residential training, or invite the group for the weekly regular workshops. Each organization has the obligation to involve a minimum of 16 young participants.
4. EVS activities, Hosting projects from March 2020 to May 2020
Each of the global south countries (India, Thailand and Colombia) will host 6 volunteers from Italy, Latvia and Greece (2 per organization) for 3 months. The EVS activity will include volunteer’s selection, preparation, support and evaluation.
5. Dissemination events in all the countries on the local/regional level, to disseminate the results of the project.
